2.Principle:

• In accordance with ASTM D4254, D854, D852, SL237, JIS, GB/T, ISO standards and by adopting the buoyancy method of Archimedean principle, wax-sealing method, boiling water saturation method can be chosen to apply, it can show the measuring result accurately and fast.

3.Functions:

• By adopting water saturation method for testing the compacted soil, it cna directly show the bulk density, wet density, apparent density, apparent porosity, water absorption, volume of open pores and closed pores, total porosity.

• The bulk density can be showed directly by using wax-sealing method.

• The density of soil particulate can be tested by purchasing professional pycnometer.

• The machines have the function of water temperature and solution compensation setting, and density setting when using wax-sealing method.

• By Adopting the design of big tank, it can decrease the inaccuracy cused by supporting wire's buoyancy.

• Standard size of water tank: 150 x 100 x 90 mm. For KBD-1200JN can be customized according to the customers' demand.
